Peace, friends. The past little while has been all about self-improvement and challenging myself to be more focused when going out to shoot and it’s definitely paid off. I’ve also been working to set up a photo walk this May in the hopes of meeting some of you. Lastly, I’ve been taking in a few talented artists and photographers who’ve kept my inspiration level on high!

In this video she's asked 21 questions about her life, work and passion projects that she's created. I was inspired by how she found her "calling" in 2016: creating a niche platform for female street photographers. Watch it here.

Maggie Rogers. She’s an American singer-songwriter who went viral after Pharrell Williams heard one of her songs at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Masterclass back in 2016. She’s also synesthetic which allows her to β€œhear” colours and β€œsee” sounds. Her unique voice and sounds inspire optimism when I’m out shooting and editing. Take a listen!

Toronto based photographer, Joan Latchford was once a nun that left the convent in search of her true passionβ€” photography. She eventually went on to document the lives of Torontonians in the 1960s and 70s with a focus on the Carribean diaspora. Sixty years later, thousands of her negatives have been unearthed. Take in a retrospective of her life’s work.
